Self Amalgamating Insulation Tape is a stretchable, rubber-based tape that fuses to itself without adhesive when wrapped around cables, wires, or electrical components. It provides excellent insulation, moisture resistance, and mechanical protection, making it ideal for electrical splices, terminations, and repairs.
Applicable scope
This product is suitable for insulation of wire and cable accessories with rated voltage of 26/50KV and below, continuous operating temperature of conductor up to 100℃, emergency overload temperature up to 140℃, and short circuit temperature up to 260℃. It is also suitable for insulation, waterproof and sealing in other occasions.
Usage
Remove the isolation film from the self-adhesive tape, stretch it by about 200%, and wrap it in a semi overlapping around the object that needs insulation or waterproof sealing protection. Wrap another layer of PVC adhesive tape on its outer layer as a protective layer.

Usage Instructions
Prepare the Surface: Clean and dry the cable or component to be insulated.
Peel and Stretch: Remove any liner (if applicable), stretch the tape moderately, and wrap it around the area with about 50% overlap.
Apply Pressure: Firmly press the tape layers to activate self-amalgamation and ensure a tight seal.
Layer as Needed: For enhanced protection, multiple layers can be applied.
Optional Outer Layer: Apply an additional protective tape (e.g., PVC tape) for extra abrasion and environmental resistance.
