1: T detachment detection
It is mainly used to test the adhesion of high-temperature resistant tapes to soft or thin objects or the adhesion between the adhesive surfaces of adhesive products (i.e., adhesion). This testing method is not used in the conventional performance characterization of high-temperature resistant tapes, and only some special adhesive products have such requirements. It is also common to detect the adhesion between the adhesive surfaces of adhesive products to quickly detect whether the adhesion force (i.e., adhesive force) of the pressure-sensitive adhesive on the basic material is sufficient. If the pressure-sensitive adhesive falls off the base material after several adhesion tests, it is important to find a way to further improve the adhesive strength of the high-temperature adhesive tape.
2: 180-degree detachment detection and 90-degree detachment detection
It is mainly used to characterize the adhesion of high-temperature resistant tapes to harder or thicker substrates. The 180-degree detachment test is easy to use and the test results are less dispersed, because it is a common detection method for high-temperature adhesive tapes, especially pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes.
However, compared with other types of detachment detection methods, the properties of the basic materials of adhesive products interfere greatly with the detection results when the 180-degree detachment is detected. Some adhesive tapes (e.g., glass fiber reinforced adhesive tapes) are bent 180 degrees during inspection and sometimes break. The 90-degree detachment detection method is rarely used in reality, because it requires a specially designed workpiece fixture with a more complex structure, so that the detachment angle is kept at 90 degrees in the whole detection process, and the 90-degree detachment detection is more suitable for theoretical research and analysis, and the interference of the detection results is less due to the nature of the basic material.
3: cylinder detachment detection
Similar to the climbing drum disengagement detection applied to honeycomb sandwich panels. A specially designed workpiece grip is used to rotate the cylinder continuously to maintain a consistent separation angle from start to finish. By replacing the cylinder with a roll of adhesive tape, the unwinding force of the adhesive tape can be measured by using this detachment detection. Unwinding force, especially fast unwinding force, is one of the most important adhesive properties of pressure-sensitive tapes.
